It kind of depends on what kind of hair you have. If you have really straight hair like Oriental hair that doesn't hold a curl, I suggest buying a good curling iron and hairspray. Make small sections and hold for about 15 seconds and see if that is long enough. If not, wait about 20. No more than 30 seconds tops! Spray hairspray while hair is wound up in iron, but not too much it will get hard and frizzy. This should work on most hair.

The other thing you can do, is put either Hot rollers or you can do a wet set with regular rollers. For this you might go to a salon and have then set your hair for you, it shouldn't cost that much. I go to a vocational school and I'm taking cosmetology. Believe me, doing a roller set only takes about 20-30 minutes and should be relatively cheap to pay for.
