Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

is there any kind of haircut that a hairdresser can do to make hair thinner?

ive heard of thinning but i dont know how it looks like. can you provide pics if possible.

would layers make hair appear thinner?

ty in advance

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

yes it will make it look thinner..........also if it is like really stright it makes hair look thinner

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

Go for a layer cut.

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

Yes. They can "undercut" it and thin it. Layers definitely help. I don't have any pictures, but think of Amanda Bynes and the long layers in her hair in "What A Girl Wants". You can still have long hair and have it thinned out. I hope this helps. Good luck!

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

i ALWAYS get my hair thinned out, it looks good!!! and layers!

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

yes layers does make your hair look thinner i know this because my hair is kind of thick and the look works.

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

You're gonna want to ask ur hairdresser to use either a razor or thinning shears to remove bulk from your haircut. Avoid (BLUNT CUTS) which are 0 degrees or horizontal. ~plan, straight across~ You can get nice long layers, but if the texture of your hair is THICK...cutting the hair too short will only make your hair more frizzy and harder to maintain SO keep a nice shoulder length cut or longer with LONG LAYERS then taper or thin your ends! Good Luck!!!

Hairstyles to make hair thinner??

There's a website called The Hairstylist.com. They have tons of hairstyles you can choose from. Only if you register on the website. There's a section on the website called Hairstyle Search. In that section of the website, you can choose to have your hair thick or thin. Curly or straight. They will tell you which hairstyle is right for you. It wiIl show images on the screen of different hairstyles. I strongly recommend this website and it will help you a lot!

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

long, dark brown, thick hair down to my tail bone.

thinking about getting it layered.

would it look ok?

do you think you would even be able to tell?

and what is the meaning of getting your hair layered anyway?

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

cut your hair up to middle of your back and get layered. it wil look better thn leaving it at your tail bone.

you shouold be able to tell especially if you blow dry it nicely

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

i think that if you have your hair that long, you should cut it before layering it otherwise you wont see the layers. people get layers because it looks more mature and nice if you do it properly.

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

it looks good

when mine was a little past the middle of my back i got it layered, it turned out really good

just don't get the layers started under your ears unless the hair length is around your chest. get the layers started around halfway between the end of your hair and the top of your ears

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

Well, I don't know about the meaning. I'm guessing it is a way of thinning out your hair. If that isn't the meaning, well, it does that as a result anyway. You would definately be able to tell. Your hair won't be as thick and it'll have a lot more movement. As for how it looks, it'll look good! Layering is something that anyone can pull off, no matter their hair length. My hair was about the same length as yours when I layered it and I love it. I think it looks way better than before. It just has more life! Good luck.

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

sure it'll look fine, esp if ur face is slim it'll look perfect.

If you have long hair and get it layered, how do you think it would look?

Step 1. Cut straight it about mid-back

Step 2. Keep your layers about 1/2 to 1 inch apart, this will create that thining effect.

Step 3. Keep the shortest layer no shorter than below your shoulders

Step 4. Your layers should not be stick straight across, they should take the razor to your ends and blend then together, kind of like this zig-zag motion.

Step 5. To keep hair from getting heavy, use a LIGHT conditioner and use a dandruff shampoo about twice a week to keep up the shine.

Step 6. Trim it yourslef about once a month. Get it re-layered every 6-8 weeks, or else it starts to look weird.

Good Luck!

Hair highlights??

i was wondering if anyone would happen to know of any great websites to look at examples of different highlights on brunettes. or a few good pictures of some. i was looking to leave my natural brown color and get a darker brown on the bottom/longer layers. my hair is a light brown. or i might put some caramel in it. if anyone has a great website or pictures to help me out that would be great, i can't find any good examples.

thanks! =D

Hair highlights??

There is a magazine called 101 Hairstyles that I always buy. It has all kinds of different haircuts and color advise with tons of pictures.

Hair highlights??

hi, i just got highlights and i was sssooo scared that it would not come out the way i wanted. but i love them!! =] i went to photobucket.com and i searched for highlights and thats where i found the color i wanted.

Hair highlights??

whatever you do, do not ask for black. I had light brown hair and wanted to get darker highlights in it and i wanted like a dark brown and black and my whole hair turned black. its the most difficult color to remove. so just stay away!!!

Black Hair Growth?

I am black and have relaxed hair. My hair length is just touching the begining of my back. Also my hair is layered, and I have bangs. I'm taking care of it but I want it grow faster. Any tips

Black Hair Growth?

Hair grows from inside out. You must have hair vitamins. Hair must be trimmed every 4-6 weeks. Conditioning always.

Some type of hair food or grease light to medium.

Black Hair Growth?

There is 2 choices you can cut it all off and your hair will grow twice as fast as if you had a relaxer or you could take pills continuiesly. If you decide to start ocer and cut it of you could end up with hair like this http://www.naani.com/contents/media/drea... and straighten it occasinaly which will be quite long. Only if you take care of it and such. If you decide to cut it a off you can email me and i will give you more tips

Black Hair Growth?

My hair was shorter than yours and over a period of 4 years it was half way down my back (12 - 14 in long), but it dropped b/c of the intense humidity where I now reside.

I had to cut it and condition it. I hardly use heat irons and when I use a blow dryer I blow ONLY my roots, so my ends don't split. Every night I treat it with a light treatment on my roots and wrap it with a silk wrap.

I don't use gels, weaves, nor do I bleach my hair.

The main tip though is to always trim your hair every 6 weeks and condition it. You must see a difference.

Black Hair Growth?

what helps my hair grow is shampoo and conditioners, less than 4 relaxers a year, not too much grease, flat iron once a week and wrapping my hair...you should give it a try it works for me :D

Hair extensions questionnnn.?

'Kay, I just got the real human hair and such, and the glue from my mom's friends' hair place. So it didnt cost me anyhting, yayy. :D ANYWAY. I'm going to do it myself with the help of my mom, because I cannot afford going to the salon and whatnot.

I think I'm going to glue it near the bottom of my head, on the first layer of hair near my hairline, under all the other hair. The thing is - do I glue it on the HAIR or kinda on the SCALP?

Thanks. :]

Hair extensions questionnnn.?

on the scalp it last longer and looks more real, if you glue it on your hair it will slip fast or come out very easy when pulled.

but glue dose pull your hair out so when you do take it out don't be surprised when you see some of your hair come out, ITS best if you get a sow in.

Hair extensions questionnnn.?

The Roots Of Your Hair You Clue It On..

Hair extensions questionnnn.?

You glue it on the hair root mostly on the scalp along the parting. Use a blow dryer to secure the glue after you've applied it to the scalp and track. Keep pressing on it until it's fixed to the head.

Hair extensions questionnnn.?

Try to get it as close to the scalp and still some on the roots of your hair.

I suggest clip in...

:P

Curly hair styles for school?

I have medium-lengthed hair, some layers, very curly..

I'd prefer to wear it down, and please don't suggest straightening it :) my hair doesn't really look good completely down, unless anyone has any tips to make it look right? thanks!

Curly hair styles for school?

First of all, way to go for not straightening it! Embrace your curls.

As for my personal suggestion, here's what I do. After I get out of the shower, I LIGHTLY towel dry my hair. Then, I squirt some mousse into my hands and run it through my hair and scrunch. (Sometimes I need more than 1 squirt.) Any kind of mousse will do, I think. You don't need the expensive kind. Then I usually follow up with Herbal Essances spray gel over that and let it air dry. (For me, blowdrying makes me look like Bozo the clown, but in the winter, you might want to dry it before going out.)

Then, for extra help on those frizzy days, I have been using Biosilk Silkening Balm AFTER ITS COMPLETELY DRY (not before or it gets sticky.)

Finally, if your hair doesn't work well with this procedure, since all curly hair is a bit different, check out www.naturallycurly.com. It's a great site with all kinds of advice, and will make you feel better about your curls.

Good luck!

Curly hair styles for school?

try to put some gel in it

Curly hair styles for school?

OMG... yes you can wear curly hair to school. i love wearing it curly. and i know what you mean about straighening it. def. a hassel. try using something to tame it. rather than straightening it run something like detangler or super skinny serum through it. you can find it any almost all salons

Curly hair styles for school?

From a girl with curly hair....let it go natural. With a good cut, it will look great letting it dry naturally. I just use my fingers for combing through as it is drying. Everyone tells me they would love to have my hair! I'm sure you will get lots of complements also.

Curly hair styles for school?

I unlike many ppl hav a wonderful hair type its wavy. i can make it curly or straght without much hassle. so i cant really help u with this one.

Curly hair styles for school?

My hair is EXACTLY the same. What i do is:

- wash it with extra conditioning products

-put oil through only the ends when its damp

-braid it tightly to keep the curl and frizz down at night

-in the morning, once its dry, i blow dry the inside and the curled ends as straight as possible with out a flat iron

-then use a light oil hair lotion on the ends and frizzies

This turns out more wavy than curly, and blow drying the inside makes it appear longer than the rest of your hair and takes away some of the body.

After these steps I usually wear some my hair twisted back, or pin my bangs kind of to the side and back.

Curly hair styles for school?

Try wearing it half up half down. This usually works for me. And instead of using gel try using Boilage Hydo Foaming Mousse. It works well and make hair bouncy. And plus it doesn't leave build-up. It's sold at most professional salons and at sometimes you can spot it at Rite-aid.

Curly hair styles for school?

Lucky you I have straight hair and have to use rollers to make it curly

What color hilites or lowlites w/ black hair?

I have dark brown asian hair %26amp; pale skin. I recently got it cut in short choppy layers w/ bangs like 1st pic and I was thinking about getting hilights in a blondish brown or reddish brown color but I don't want it to contrast too much. I never dyed my hair b4 my parents wouldnt let me get it dyed too much. I originally really wanted something like the 1st pic but it would look weird for an asian kid to have mostly blonde hair. So maybe if the color was changed? I dont wanna dye the whole top 2 much in a diff color

OR

I was also thinking about getting hilights like the 2nd pic but Im stuck between that reddish hue and a blondish one. My hairs really layered so I want hilights on the first few layers and keep the bottom layer dark. Would it look good on shorter hair? Cuz I wanna hilite it like in the bangs on the 1st pic (layers), not strands like the 2nd. Do I need to bleach it? I'm in highschool.

What color hilites or lowlites w/ black hair?

I AGREE WITH LIL'MAMMA!!!!! red high lights fade really quickly and look awful. go for warm caramel colours, have them put in just under the top layer of your hair that way when your hair grows you cant see the roots therefore you wont have to have it done so often saving you money!!!! my dad is asian so i have almost black hair and warm browny caramel colours always look really nice. good luck babe xx

What color hilites or lowlites w/ black hair?

i know some people who have black hair nd they have reddish/brown highlights that look really good on them

What color hilites or lowlites w/ black hair?

hmmmm.......i think that reddish color looked pretty good on you,or you could just try hilites with a kinda honey blondish brown color..alotta my friends have done that :D

What color hilites or lowlites w/ black hair?

I WOULDNT DO RED, IT FADES QUICKLY AND TURNS AN ORANGEISH PINK AFTER A WH ILE, ITS ALOT OF UP KEEP. IF YOU DONT WANT TO DO ALLL BLONDE, TRY DOING A PRETTY CARAMEL COLOR. HOPE I HELPED YA OUT!
