What would look better? layered hair with a side fringe or just trimmed hair with a side fringe?

Ive got to go to the hair-dressers tomorrow and i was wondering if i asked them to layer my hair and do a side fringe, would they? or should i just tell them to trim my hair and give me a side fringe?

Layer it, trust me, i used to have hair without layers and i thought it looked good but now that i have layers it looks soooo much better. but it all depends if you have really thick hair dont, if you have medium just ask them to do the front (like i did) and if you have thin definately do it all!!!
