i would suggest something like a light-weight yet extreme hold gel. i bought one from vo5. it is great. look at the loreal range too. good luck (scrunched hair looks gorgeous)!

i use aussie scrunch spray. you spray it on while your hair is wet and scrunch with your hands. i use to have layered long hair and it even worked on mine!
