She ruined my hair!?

I got my hair cut the other day and the lady totally ruined my hair!! I had 2 layer long hair. She cut it so I have like 20 different layers and I wanted side swept bangs like this

I even showed her a picture of the kind I wanted. I have no clue what she did with my bangs I think she tried to do that but like screwed up majorly. They start short get long then shorter! What can I do? Would it be smart to go to a different stlyist to get it cut again or would it better to just let them grow out? If I let them grow out how long will it take??

First off let's have moment of silence for your hair. I definitely feel your pain. If I were you, I'd just let them grow out. I wouldn't feel comfortable letting anyone cut my hair again so soon after a traumatic hair experience. It should only take a month or two to get them right. I know it's difficult to deal with right now. I know because I've been there. Good luck and I hope those bangs come back extra fast for you!!

I hope that you didn't have to pay for her to do that to you hun. I would recommend going down to the salon that you got the cut done, take the picture down there with you and speak to a manager, she/he should give you a refund and fix you hair at no extra cost of course don't let the same person try to fix your hair. I am sorry this happened to you. I had this happen to me once as well. I cried.

In my professional opinion, the bangs in the second picture look better than the ones in the first picture.

Why don't you post a picture of your "after" haircut and I can tell you what can be done to fix your hair. Without any more details or pictures, the best thing that I can say is to let them grow out. It's not wise to go to someone different to fix to fix someone else's mistake.

i think her hair looks nice v.cool in the uk if you still hate got to a more expensive(pref. better obv.) hair dresser which has been recommended to you or when you walk past has people with nice haircuts coming out

I think it sill looks cute, but if you don't like it, I totally know what you mean. I've been there! They ruined my hair and it didn't look anything like the picture then they tried to charge me a fortune!! So here's what I did, and it's what you should do. Don't go back to the same stylist! But go back to the place you got your hair done and talk to the manager of the place, show them the picture you showed your stylist and tell them that you're unhappy. If they're an honest place they should fix your hair for free, but make sure they use a different person. It's their responsiblity to make their customers happy and give the customers what they were looking for. Good luck!!! I really hope it works out for you!
