Try this site. it may have something on it you like. I look all over the net before i found a hairstyle i liked. try going to google or yahoo and searching for prom hairstyles and just check different sites. also check in the books at the salon and see what's in those.

Maybe you could try scrunching your hair instead with some curling mousse and gel and stuff...=]

I just had a great thought. Headbands are really big right now. So how about a pretty coordinating headband with some rhinestones in it. Then have someone do spiral curls thru the bottom of your hair. If you want, they could then pin those up so it looks like you have long hair pinned up. I think it would be awesome even if you left it down. Go to a salon you respect, and ask for someone who does a lot of up dos, or ask around and find someone who has always gone to the same person for their updos and get them too ! Have fun!
