Or a website with diagrams would be a help :)

How do i layer my own hair?

Unless you have hairdressing training I would not suggest it, you can probably do the front and sides but as you can't see the back well enough to do it yourself you will need someone else to do it.

Comb your hair out nicely, so there's no tangles. Or, you can wet your hair and then dry it a little, then start brushing again, but make sure that it's still wet.

Take many strands, oh say about... 40-50 of hair, and use a flat comb to comb it upwards, so that it's sticking up while you hold it. You want to be able to cut it diagonally slightly, and also you want to make sure that there's sort of a long strand at the end.

You can cut your hair short on some parts, and layer it, long parts, layer it, so on so forth.

nooooooooooo dont do it! just get it dun professionally, or go to the 'academy' sections of salons for a free hair-cut! Even though they may not be the bessst, it'll be better than cutting it yourself! xx

DON'T DO IT! Go to a professional or you will regret it! Even professional stylists do NOT cut their own hair. You are going to make a mess of it and still end up at a stylist to have it fixed so why not just cut out the messy part and go straight to the sytlist!

Are you mad???? if that's you in the pic you have great hair.....why risk ruining it? Go to a good hairdresser but if it's it's too expensive, go on model night and have students do it...they are totally supervised and it's much cheaper. you will regret it if you try it yourself i'm sure

How do i layer my own hair?

stand up then lean forward letting all your hair dangle down then (better when wet) pull it all together and twist to the end (one big twist) then all you have to do is cut in a diagonal direction , it will only put layers that are as long as the cut you make
