Should I get layers cut into my long hair or a spiral perm?

I have really long hair and it just seems flat and I wear it up most of the time because I just don't know what else to do with it. Would layers make a difference or would that be a mistake it is stright but it can be frizzy. Also I have always wanted a spiral perm but have been afraid my hair would never be the same does anyone know how much lengeth it takes away and how much mantaince a spiral perm would be

Use a hair dryer with rounded brush to give your hair volume. The bangs or spiral curls would be added on with that.

Layering your hair makes it more flat than it is.

If you are too afraid for spiral curls - than a body perm will do fine.

Or use a curling iron to give some bangs to your hair in the middle and at the ends of it.

Snip only half an inch first...

I suggest layers..........there is so much you can do with long hair, and having it cut in layers would increase the versatilty of your hair. As far as hair styles, try using mousse allowing to air dry and pull back with a head band. ANother suggestion would be lots and lots of loose curls, using mousse again to add volume to the roots, set the ends with rollers and sit under a dryer.

With soft layers you can't go wrong.
