Well, my hair is apparently too red for school rules. I would like to know if there is a way that I could part or layer my hair to hide some of the colour so it wouldn't be so "distracting."

You could get some brown low lights and then it will just look like you have brown hair w/ red high lights. it sucks that you can't be an individual at your school how lame is that. What is too red. Get highlights. A lot of highlights too cover it up. technically ur not dying it back.
