i have thick curly hair and i was thinking about getting it cut a little b4 my shoulders then getting it layered, do u think thats a good idea, and i have a round face. do u think this haircut would work though

I have layers, and I have curly hair. I wouldn't get it if you're cutting it THAT short, because if you cut it too short, you know what happens...POOF.

Get it layered. It will prevent triangle head and thin your hair out a bit. It will lay much better.

Layers actually are a great thing for people with curly hair! It gives you a little movement, and it helps you have a "look" as opposed to just a mass of hair. However, that cut is going to make your layers pretty short, so you might want to consider leaving it a little long than whats pictured b/c once your hair curles up your gonna loose length, and it may end up being shorter than you want. Especially with a round face, you want to be careful with length. I have a round face %26amp; curly hair, and I think it looks better longer than shorter..

I also have thick curly hair, a roundish face shape, %26amp; pretty much the same hair cut.
It's a really great idea for someone with thick curly hair to get layers, because it takes out a lot of the bulk and makes your hair look healthier, less huge %26amp; frizzy, %26amp; your curls look better! =]
It does NOT make your hair look poofy, as long as you ask for "long layers."

Definitely but not that short!!! Layers are amazing and will look beautiful with curly hair.
