Does layering your hair make it short at the front?? Thinner??

My hair was very long as a little girl, beautiful color and wonderful length....but it was not layered and that made it oily, thin, and unhealthy.

So i had to cut it...Too this day it has never reached that length again, but I have healthy hair and it is so much fuller in the back! Yet it can still be soft in thin, while still being healthy!

Yes, it does make you hair shorter in the front, but you can choose how thin you want it, that is the plus of it!

The cons of it are that it takes FOREVER to get your old length back, but it is a great idea too keep your old length in the last layer!

Layering my hair has helped me greatly, and it does not damage your hair.

I hope you consider it and that this information has helped you! =D

When you get your hair layered, they just make it choppier all over. It can be shorter anywhere, so be sure to specify to your stylist what you want. If you want your hair thinner, you can ask to get it thinned when you go and get your hair cut.

A layer makes your hair shorter at the longest point graduating up and at the last layer the hair will be fuller, layers work well with all hair types too
